Program Overview

The Electrical Technician Certification Program prepares students for entry-level electrical work in construction, maintenance, and related trade environments. Students learn electrical safety, circuit theory, measurements, hand and power tools, National Electrical Code® basics, conduit, raceways, conductors, electrical drawings, and residential and commercial system planning while preparing for OSHA 10-hour Electrical and NWCA Electrical Technician certification. The program also includes an externship opportunity for real-world experience.
